Cake Stories No.1

The one about Harry Potter and the Chamber of Cake!

I am always thrilled to donate a cake for a good cause, so when Dreams Come True, a charity that fulfils dreams for children and young adults with serious and life limiting conditions, asked if I could help out, it was a resounding yes!

The recipient was a 13 year old Harry Potter fan, who was going to celebrate her birthday at The Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour, which isn’t far from here.  Ravenclaw was her favourite house so rather than the usual more general Harry Potter designs, I decided to home in on that. 

I presented the cake at the end of the tour, she had no idea it was coming, and it would be fair to say, she was absolutely overjoyed.  It’s moments like that, that make this the best job in the world.
